Bayerische Philharmonie & jazz pianist Martin Schmitt

Under the motto »Orff meets Boogie«, a unique and varied musical experience awaits at the concerts of the 12th Orff-Tage of the Bayerische Philharmonie. In 2021, the orchestra of the Bayerische Philharmonie celebrates the Orff-Tage (Orff Days) with the great boogie and jazz pianist Martin Schmitt. A piano genius par excellence, his boogie interpretations are not entirely unrelated to Carl Orff’s works.

With first-class soloists and musicians of the Bayerische Philharmonie and hosted and directed by Mark Mast a spectacular crossover of boogie woogie, jazz and classical awaits.

Participants:

Martin Schmitt, pianist, singer & entertainer
Ina Heise, soprano
Gustavo Martín Sánchez, tenor
Florian Götz, baritone
Piano duo of the Bayerische Philharmonie
Percussion ensemble of the Bayerische Philharmonie
Chamber orchestra of the Bayerische Philharmonie
Mark Mast, presenter and overall direction
