Following of a job offer from an industrial company, Petros and Anna move to a small town in Siberia. Shocked, they both realize that Anna is pregnant – even though they haven’t slept together. Petros begins to distrust Anna as she becomes increasingly drawn to religious circles that interpret pregnancy as a miracle. In their once firm relationship, cracks begin to emerge. Their personal drama becomes the stage for conflicts between spiritual and rational interests.
