A river as a legal identity: The example of New Zealand’s Whanganui opens up a new perspective on how we deal with rivers. From New Zealand, this evening’s programme takes us all the way to the USA and South America. Whether urban rivers or the wild rivers of the Amazon region: What is it about our love for water? And what are the consequences?
