Look forward to an introduction with fascinating aerial photographs by Bernhard Edmaier from his illustrated book »Water«. The slide show is accompanied live by Franziska Lehner with atmospheric piano music. The geologist and philosopher Martin Rasper will then comment on the images.
Documentary: Der Tagliamento – König der Alpenflüsse
This German-language documentary film about the »king of alpine rivers« is followed by a discussion on the topic of what connects us humans with (wild) rivers.
On the panel:
• Prof. Dr. Klement Tockner, Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries and the Free University of Berlin
• Prof. Dr. Norbert Müller, Erfurt University of Applied Sciences; many years’ research on Lech and Tagliamento
• Toni Knittel, teacher and singer as well as committed activist for the preservation of the Lech river in the Tyrol.
The matinee ends with a song about the Lech river from the group »Bluatschink«.
