It’s Easter and ISARFLUX is Back

ISARFLUX brings the Easter party to your living rooms in a coronavirus edition with Munich bands and DJs Matija, Elena Rud, R3MAX&HEADBEATS and Tahpir. Indie pop live from the Black Box and epic DJ sets from the roof of the Philharmonic Hall with Munich’s spectacular skyline as a backdrop are guaranteed to create a festival atmosphere. Organised by the Gasteig’s trainees, this festival is set to beam energy-laden performances, impressive light shows and phat sounds directly to your screens. Get into festival mood on 4 April 2021 with our free stream.

Elena Rud

With more than a hint of irony, Munich artist Elena Rud refers to her soulful, dramatic music as »melancholic love shit«. Despite, or maybe because of her indie background, her songs stand out with their distinct poetic touch.

Tahpir (Electronica)

Pulsating, electrifying beats and rich, colourful harmonies are the two constants in the multi-faceted electronica compositions of Munich-based producer Tahpir. Recommended for John Hopkins, Rival Consoles or Floating Points fans. (

Matija spans everything from upbeat funk, alternative worlds and indie disco to desperate love songs. And not least a close look at our changing times. The Munich trio around frontman Matt Kovac is honest, impulsive and revels in detail.

What makes ISARFLUX so special?

This annual festival is organised exclusively by the Gasteig’s trainees – from booking the bands to artist support to taking care of lighting, sound and stage management on the day of the event. And they all agree: »It feels daunting every year. But on the day itself it’s always an amazing party!«
