The Jazzrausch Bigband is the first band ever to play at the brand new Isarphilharmonie in Sendling.

Best of

For »Bangers Only!«, the techno jazz band’s 15 members have, for the first time, selected their best pieces from the band’s seven-year history and eleven album releases.
At their last concert in the Gasteig’s Philharmonic Hall, more than two thousand music fans experienced a concert extravaganza that no one would have previously thought possible. For hours, the Jazzrausch Bigband transformed the sold-out Philharmonic Hall into a buzzing hub of music and dance, with jazz, classical and techno fulfilling the clubbers’ desire for authentic, hand-made, fresh and original music and the jazz and classical listeners’ longings for more oomph, entertainment, big sound and massive groove.

The Jazzrausch Bigband

With an average of 120 concerts a year, the Jazzrausch Bigband is one of the world’s most successful big bands. With appearances in Europe, America, Asia and Africa, it brings together jazz and nightclub audiences with »powerful sound, groove and an enormous stage presence« (FAZ) like no comparable formation at present – electro with horns, jazz on ecstasy.
The nucleus and starting point of this musical journey is a Munich cult venue: »Harry Klein« – one of Europe’s most renowned electro clubs. In 2015, just a year after its foundation, the Jazzrausch Bigband became artists in residence at »Harry« and the young audience went wild. A big band in a techno club – truly unique, in Munich and throughout the world. In no time, the big band sought ever larger venues and now performs at prominent festivals all over the world.

Aftershow party

Following the concert, there will be an aftershow party in the foyer of the Isarphilharmonie with DJ Stefanie Raschke (Harry Klein).

In collaboration with Harry Klein and ACT and supported by the Department of Arts and Culture of the City of Munich (Jazzrausch Bigband Roman Sladek, Munich)
