Luka Šulić is one of the world’s best cellists. Together with his colleague Stjepan Hauser, their internationally renowned crossover duo »2CELLOS« has achieved success after success. But the solo projects of this exceptional talent, too, electrify audiences in the world’s grand old concert halls. In the spring of 2020, Luka Šulić is paying Europe a visit for six hand-picked concerts with his current programme »The Four Seasons – Vivaldi & More«.

Luka Šulić began his musical career in Maribor, Slovenia when he took up the cello at the age of five. Only ten years later he was admitted to the Zagreb Academy of Music, where he graduated with distinction at the age of 18 under Valter Dešpalj. This makes him one of the academy’s youngest students ever. He continued his education in Vienna and graduated in 2011 with a master’s degree from the Royal Academy of Music in London.

As a soloist Luka Šulić works regularly with international stars of the classical and opera scene. Whether with the German Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, the Warsaw Philharmonic or the Russian Symphony Orchestra: with his extraordinary talent and inimitable charisma, Luka Šulić is always a welcome guest on stages and in concert halls around the world. He has also appeared in the world’s largest TV shows. His performance with superstar pianist Lang Lang at the CCTV New Year’s Gala, which was watched by more than 1 billion spectators, deserves special mention. In March and May 2020, with »The Four Seasons – Vivaldi & More«, Luka Šulić presents not only a tribute to one of the most famous Baroque composers but also a journey in which emotions and finest musicianship meet.

Please be advised that, under child protection laws applicable in Munich, children under the age of six cannot be admitted to the event. Children aged 6 to 13 years can be admitted only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
