With their guests Anja Harteros and the Mariinsky Ballet, Valery Gergiev and the Munich Philharmonic welcome top-class performers on stage in the Philharmonic Hall to kick off this year’s »MPHIL 360°« festival. Their performance begins with Anja Harteros’ interpretation of Alban Berg’s »Seven Early Songs«. After the interval, the legendary Mariinsky Ballet from St. Petersburg takes us back to the Paris of the 1920s with Maurice Ravel’s 1912 ballet version of »Daphnis et Chloé« in a new production by Vladimir Varnava.
