Piano recital with works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms.
Pathik received his first piano lessons at the age of six. Aged fifteen, he became a private student of Prof. Eliza Hansen in Hamburg, who had studied with Artur Schnabel and Edwin Fischer, among others; the following year, he enrolled for a master’s degree under her professorship at the local music university. Some years later, he changed to the Brazilian pianist Prof. Yara Bernette, who was a student of Claudio Arrau.
He has followed his own path – outside the mainstream – for many years now. He plays chamber music with the Munich »Blütenring Ensemble« and performs piano recitals and concerts in and around Munich, Hamburg, Elmau, Berlin, Hanover, Leipzig and Korea. His latest appearance in Korea in September 2019 saw him performing piano quintets by Dohnányi and Brahms with musicians of the Korean Chamber Orchestra at the invitation of the orchestra’s Music Director Prof. Min Kim.
