For more than 35 years, the Sicilian singer-songwriter has been captivating audiences with his irrepressible creativity, his soulful interpretations and his unmistakably rough and soulful voice. With over 4000 concerts played throughout Europe, he is one of the most popular Italian singer-songwriters and one of the most important contemporary representatives of the modern canzone d’autore.
Besides collaborations with international artists such as Georges Moustaki, Franco Battiato, Inti Illimani, Konstantin Wecker, Werner Schmidbauer and Martin Kälberer, Pippo Pollina is a celebrated solo artist with a large, loyal following. The next opportunity to see him perform live and solo will be in January 2021 at the release concert for his 24th album at the Gasteig Philharmonic Hall.
