TANZWERKSTATT is celebrating its 30th anniversary by dusting off selected works from its early days and stepping back into the rehearsal room. Back in 1991, Walter Heun programmed an evening set to music by Mozart, including two pieces by Rui Horta and Micha Purucke; two choreographers who still play an important role at TANZWERKSTATT EUROPA.

To kick off this anniversary season, both choreographed works will be resurrected, rehearsed and performed in collaboration with the Ballet of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz and the Gasteig. In addition to Horta and Purucker, Thomas Hauert – who is also an important and long-term figure at TANZWERKSTATT EUROPA – will also debut a new work involving the dancers.
