The International Samba Congress Europe brings together icons of Brazilian music. Three protagonists of the new generation of Brazilian artists come together on one stage to present MPB, Samba and Bossa Nova classics as well as their own music that has made them famous in the Brazilian and international music scene.
The award-winning singer Fabiana Cozza, who today is considered one of the most promising voices in samba, has already received recognition from Maria Bethânia for her extraordinary voice. Singer and composer Luciana Mello, daughter of the iconic Jair Rodrigues, is enjoying success with her own mix of pop, samba and MPB. Criolo, known for his career as one of Brazil’s greatest rappers, has risen to stardom as a Samba and MPB vocalist in recent years. Caetano Veloso once described him as »perhaps the most important figure in the Brazilian pop scene«. The natural ease with which he approaches different genres and styles authentically reflects contemporary urban Brazil.
