Description

The Carl Orff Hall is designed as a multi-purpose hall and is suitable for a range of uses. Chamber concerts and theatre performances of all genres take place here, and the hall is also used for lectures and films. Works meetings, smaller staff meetings, AGMs and congress meetings are also held in the Carl Orff Saal.

Stage and Equipment

The 154 m² stage can be extended by a movable podium, which can also be used as an orchestra pit. The Carl Orff Hall has all the technical equipment necessary for theatre performances, including numerous line sets and electronically controlled lighting as well as a sound reinforcement system and projection and recording facilities. Movable absorber elements allow the reverberation time in the hall to be varied. The large scenery lift can be effortlessly accessed from the loading zone.

The wheelchair spaces in the hall are easily accessible via lifts. Its flexible layout makes the hall suitable for events with 250 persons or more. Two interpreter booths are permanently installed.
