Apply by 13 September! Free Music Video Sessions in the PIXEL Munich musician Elena Rud at a recording session Karina Fink / Münchner Stadtbibliothek

Young musicians can now apply for free music video sessions in the PIXEL. At the Track’n’Field sessions (24. to 27.09.2020), individuals and groups/bands can get help from the pros with producing music videos of their own songs. The closing date for applications for the autumn recording sessions is Sunday, 13 September 2020.

If you’re dreaming of your own music video, Track’n’Field in the PIXEL is the place to be! From 24 to 27 September, the Gasteig’s media lab will once again be transformed into a mobile recording studio for young musicians. In three-hour sessions, you will record a song that you have rehearsed, with the session being filmed with a 360° camera. Anyone can apply – from solo artists up to a 6-piece guitar combo – provided the group’s average age does not exceed 30 years.

Just send an e-mail with information about your band (if possible with pictures and links) to no later than Sunday, 13 September 2020. You can find all facts on the Medienzentrum München/JFF website (in German language).

Here you can see a music video from »The Arsonists«:

By the way, Track’n’Field is a joint project of the Munich City Library (Music Library and update.jung&erwachsen) and the Medienzentrum München/JFF, supported by Feierwerk Fachstelle Pop.

We are looking forward to seeing the new music videos from the PIXEL!
