Corona Vaccination Centre in Gasteig Haidhausen
Requirements for a Corona vaccination in the Gasteig
Vaccinations are available for all German residents (or people with German health insurance) aged 5 years and older. In general, you can choose which vaccine you want to receive. The Novavax vaccine for basic immunisation of people aged 18 years and older is only available at the Gasteig vaccination centre. Children between 5 and 11 years of age receive BioNTech’s specially dosed children’s vaccine. People aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
What documents do I need to bring along?
To receive a vaccination, you will need a valid personal identification, such as an identity card or passport and, if available, your yellow vaccination certificate as well as proof of any previous vaccinations with QR code. The QR code allows much faster registration on site, which helps reduce waiting times. While you no longer need to register or make an appointment beforehand at www.impfzentren.bayern, you can still do so to reduce waiting times.

Where exactly can I find the Gasteig vaccination centre and when is it open?
The Gasteig vaccination centre is in the foyer of the Philharmonic Hall at Gasteig Haidhausen (Rosenheimer Straße 5). Access is via the Celibidacheforum in the courtyard of the Gasteig. Once on site, just follow the signs. The Gasteig vaccination centre is open Tuesday til Saturday from 9 AM to 6:30 PM.
