Current Corona Information
According to the new version of the 14th Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance (in German language; valid until October 1) new Corona measures apply in Munich. As of September 2, the 3-G rule will apply indoors in Munich's public buildings if the incidence exceeds 35 (access only for those tested, vaccinated and recovered). Visitors at the Gasteig must be able to provide relevant evidence. It is compulsory to wear a medical mask at all times (also during events) while you are in the Gasteig (children under 6 years of age are exempt) and to keep your distance. The limit on the number of people for public events no longer applies, so that all upcoming events in the Gasteig can take place at maximum capacity.
The Gasteig is open every day from 8 AM to 11 PM.
Open again inside and outside: Gastronomy at the Gasteig
In the Glass Hall as well as in the outdoor area, the »Babà« invites you again to enjoy and linger Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. From Wednesday to Saturday from 5 PM to midnight, the pop-up project »Charlie Scout« is open on the generous terrace in front of the Gasteig. Please note: Indoors applies the 3G rule (access only for those who have been tested, vaccinated and recovered). It is necessary to register and provide contact details.
Coronavirus Test Centre
The Gasteig has a coronavirus test centre for all Munich residents from 5 years of age upwards. The test station in the foyer of the Philharmonic Hall is open from 8 AM to 8 PM daily. Please note that you must book an appointment at www.covidzentrum.de before coming to be tested.
