Restrictive corona measures apply until June 2. Currently, no live events can take place in the Gasteig. From May 10, incidence-dependent relaxations for culture are planned. The Munich City Library is open, München Ticket sales on site will remain closed. During the night curfew the Gasteig closes earlier at 10 PM.

Current Regulations

With the extension and adjustment of the 12th Bavarian Infection Protection Regulation (in German language), the current lockdown still applies until at least June 2. Accordingly, no public events can take place in the Gasteig until further notice. From May 10, incidence-dependent (with a stable 7-day incidence below 100) opening perspectives and relaxations for culture, outdoor dining, contacts and sports are planned. Opening Times and Hygiene Regulations

As long as there is a night curfew in Munich between 10 PM and 5 AM, the Gasteig closes one hour earlier. The house is therefore open every day from 8 AM to 10 PM. Please observe the generally applicable hygiene regulations when visiting the Gasteig.

The Münchner Volkshochschule (Munich Adult Education Center) has still interrupted its course and event operations in attendance with a few exceptions at least until June 6th.
