Lab Uganda: the multimedia culture truck is travelling to Uganda

It’s a long way from Gasteig to Uganda, but Lab Uganda – the mobile multimedia laboratory from Music Connects e. V. – will set off on its journey at the end of July. With the financial support of Germany’s Federal Foreign Office, Music Connects is bringing a stage, a recording studio, instruments and a small cinema to BidiBidi in northern Uganda, the second-largest refugee camp in the world. Lab Uganda – built in Munich in recent months – will use music to help create long-term opportunities for cultural development.
