MVHS Invites You to Take Part in Culture and Education at Home
»We cannot offer the same number and range of events online that we hold under normal circumstances at the Münchner Volkshochschule,« explains programme director Dr. Susanne May. »But we are pleased to be able to provide some of our teachers and instructors with a means of sharing their knowledge through our online courses.«
The concise online »MVHS.Heimspiel« videos reflect the range of classes and formats available at the MVHS: there are lectures, readings, tutorials and performances on the topics of philosophy, theology, urban history, literature and fine arts as well as yoga and relaxation. The many presentations and practical demonstrations in the »MVHS.Heimspiel« series are recorded by the lecturers and instructors in the temporary home studios they have set up at home. You can watch all videos on the YouTube channel of the Münchner Volkshochschule.
The departments of the MVHS are also doing their best to offer as many of the usual course formats as possible online. The Junge Volkshochschule, for example, supports pupils in preparing for school-leaving exams through webinars that enable live interaction and conversation with the teachers. Online offers for vocational training and in the subject German and Integration are also already available, with about 30 online courses at all levels starting on 20 April. You can book these courses at www.mvhs.de/deutsch-online.
Further offers will follow. For a current overview, visit the website of the MVHS at www.mvhs.de.
