The »Bellevue di Monaco« Adds Yet More Diversity at the Gasteig

The »Bellevue di Monaco« Adds Yet More Diversity at the Gasteig Social Cooperative Bellvue di Monaco

The small row of shops next to the S-Bahn entrance at the Gasteig has acquired a new temporary use. The »Bellevue di Monaco« has moved into one of the shops and presents its wide range of projects there.

It all started on 12 April with the »Bellevue Couture« tailoring workshop project. This is to be followed by new workshop formats, a digital repair café and events with artists, while the mobile Bellevue stage will make occasional guest appearances. We’re all looking forward to a lively exchange, for example with the PIXEL and the Optimistic Elephant, but also to meeting the Gasteig audience, who will hopefully be able to enjoy the open spaces again during this year’s »Summer in the City«.

Currently, there is a »work & click & collect« every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 3 PM. But even outside these times, the shop is a hive of sewing activity, with the colourful results being put on show in the large shop windows. It pays to take a look and peruse.

Please note: Because of the largely unpredictable situation with the coronavirus, please check the current opening hours and regulations for visitors at

Housed in Müllerstraße, Bellevue di Monaco is a residential and cultural centre for both refugees and locals. It has a café and offers cultural activities, counselling, language courses and a wide range of workshops. Find out more at
